HIgh Heels

One mystery to men is why women would voluntarily torture their toes with pointy toed shoes or high heels, yet these continue to be the most popular styles for dress shoes today. This is because high heels work wonders for a woman’s figure. They make the legs look long and shapely, tuck in the tummy, lift the bottom, make hips sway. They make a woman look sexy and confident.

Even though there are many reasons against wearing high-heels, include;

- they can cause foot pain

- they can create foot deformities, including hammertoes and bunions

- they can cause an unsteady gait

- they can shorten the wearer's stride

- they can render the wearer unable to run

- altered forces at the knee caused by walking in high-heels may predispose to degenerative changes in the knee joint

But women still prefer to wear high heel because it help women looks better.

Now a day, you could only see women wear high heel, but do you know that in the history, men also were high heels, and one of the men were France's King Louis XIV

Beloved Son!!

Chinese Family always give the most important to the son, especially the first one of the family. Because, he will be the one who pass the surname to his kids, unlike daughter. She's one day will marry out, and her kids follow her husband's surname.

Many Chinese families, therefore, don't treat their kids equally and always give some pressure to the daughter.

My parent's friend, they always talk about their son and very proud of him in which he play 'Judo' (kind of martial art), more than their daughter who graduated school of law and work with the famous law company!!!

When I talked to her, I found out that her lack of confident when she was young due to what's their parents do. Since they listen to her little brother most of the time and don't listen to her. Agreed with her brother's opinion which she also gave them similar opinion before him but they don't even care.

This kind of unequal treat between daughter and brother isn't just happen recently, but it deep down in Chinese root. Even though many parents now a day say treat their kids equally, but if you ask daughter...9 out of 10, would give you the similar answer.

Who want the pet??

Do you like dogs or cats? Do you own any of them?

In this topic I will not mention about nationality ,ok~ ^^"

For myself, I don't owner any pet because I know myself well that I don't have enough responsibility to take care of them.

When you raise any pets, you have to give them time and love.

Feed them food, bring them for a walk if that breed's required.

And when it's out of home, please watch it carefully!!!

There are many times....I saw dogs defecate on the road....and it's owner just stand far away...

I don't know that they just don't want to smell it or just want to give the dog's privacy...

But after the dog finish his business, could you please bring your dogs back, as well as, his part?

I know some owner who have responsibility (From Thai, Singapore, and UK)....when they want to bring their dogs out for a walk...they will bring along plastic bags.

What's the plastic bags for?.....Do I still need to explain?

NO ONE APPRECIATE TO SEE 'IT' IN FRONT OF THEIR HOUSE!!!

So, if any one of you own the pet...please bring back its belonging ok ^^

Cultural of gamer...different time, different nature

Game online will have a time to test for the system and server which we call Alpha Test.

Gamer (person who play games) will create their characteristic, choose the name, choose the weapon depends of what kind the game is. One special things of online game is everyone can chat with each other in the game. We could also trade things, form up the team or create war in some games.

However, during the period of Alpha Test...it would have many problems which they (Game developer) will fix it.

Since it is the "TESTING" period....will u expect the perfect game???

But Thai gamers have change their....view, attitude and also manner.

From the previous, many gamers who involve within test period would ask this kind of question...

What's the story about?

Who is the team developer?

When we go to this point, the game will stop...pls fix it.

This frame is too small, you should resize it.

Find the buck...at this point.

....Mostly, would be the comment for help game developer to fix...or to improve the game...

However, this is what many current gamers usually do...

Why doesn't support .... language?

Poor, why let us play when it's not ready.

Is this free?

Have bot for this game yet? (a kind of game cheating)

Server damn slow.

Why only have 3 maps? Open more, let me level up.

And when developer will close beta (to improve before official open)

the respond from both group also different...

From...

telling the developer strong and weak point of the game and thank you for let them be a part developing the game. See you again in open beta.

To...

will you reset my level?....my score is very high already, can you don't reset it....i'm lazy to play it once again. Can I keep my collecting item.

.

.

.

When i read a topic from one gamer who are aware of differences nature between groups of gamer.

He give his interesting opinion...

"Between 2 groups of gamer....everything is depends on the majority....which groups are bigger. The things we thought it is right, will become wrong when the cultural and nature has change.

Environment in class room

As we know that every country has different culture...

Well, environment or nature of student also different.

I am, as a Thai, couldn't deny that our Thai student are hardly to give opinion in class. I didn't mean we won't give teacher an answer...but if teacher ask "what do you think?"...the room will become silent !!

it is our tradition to speak less...which taught generation to generation

[พูดไปสองไพเบี้ย นิ่งเสียตำลึงทอง (Pood-bai-song-pai-beer ning-seer-tum-lung-thong)= Speech is silver; silence is golden]...

It is one of the reason's why Thai student barely participate in the class. We afraid to tell what we think because we will lose confident and also lose face if the teacher disagree with us, afraid to give answer if we are not sure.

So, many Thai who are grow up with this thought will be in a hard time when they go to study in European country...coz their student and our Thai student are very different...those who come from europe will eager to tell, to give opinion and to speak out....meanwhile Thai will just sit still, remain silent and wish to disappear coz they are not get use to this kind of environment....as well as don't have confident to speak out.

And there are so many people who go to study at America, for example, because their parents force they to go without notice that their kids will experience a very hard time.

For me, one way to help this kids....if possible, changing the way of our Thai education would help....a lot.....BUT...who will change it??

Nature of fanclub

Have you ever attending in the concert?

If yes, what type of ticket was that? stand or sit?

For me, I experienced 2 type of that tickets, in both Thai and Korea...It was not much different in term of we screamed, we stood up, we jumped and we run around. I could not imagine myself if I in the concert, stand ticket, and stand still in one place.

I never though that there will be anyone could do like that, just stand there, clap the hands when the music is so fun...but there is. Me and my friends were surprise when we watch the concert live in Japan. They all stand in line, not just only one area, and they never run to the singer when he/she come to front stage.

In February this year I went to Korea attending one concert, I've got a seat which next to two Japanese girls. Before the concert start, they talked to me very polite and very soft voice in a way. And when the concert started, they moved their light stick just only a bit, like they very carefully not to hit other...more important...I couldn't believe, I didn't hear they scream at all.

When the concert nearly end, most of the song was high beat and very fun...and singers asked us to jump...when we all stand up and jump to the music. Both two Japanese girls seem to scare to stand up, they keep turn around to look at the back, like afraid to block other people who sit behind her....even when all audience jumped, they just stand still with happily smiled.

Chopsticks VS Fork and knife

Different culture have different ways to eat

When you walk in those europe restaurant, will u expect for chopsticks??

European country (USA, UK, France, Italy, etc.) usually use fork and knife to eat their food

Both fork and spoon is very useful to eat their traditional food like steak and salad...since it all dry and come as a whole piece of meat, so the person who eat will need knife to cut them in small pieces before they eat. The only menu they use a spoon to eat, as far as i know, is soup.

In many Asian countries especially China, Japan and Korea prefer chopstick.

Chopstick was a very first tool human used to feed ourselves. Chopstick was developed more than a hundred years, if we looked at it in our history. Twig (a slender woody) was the very first material we used as a chopstick, another material we often used was the animal bones as we often hunt animal down to eat them. Chopstick was developed through the time, most popular material for produce chopstick in Korea is silver.

14 Feb - 14 March - 14 April

I believe that most of us know very well that 14 Feb is Valentine day, right?
Valentine day is like a day for a man give chocolate or flower to a girl he likes. Me, as a student in a girl's school, I also saw girls give flower to girls as well, lol.
Anyway, 14 Feb is the day that one persone show their love to the one they love.

They, 14 March....Do you know what day it is?
It is White day, which is the day we could show love reture to the one gave us on Valentine day.
If anyone give you flower or chocolate or dolls in Valentine day, 14 March is the day you can give any gift back to tell them that you also love them.

After you know Valentine day and White day already,
Can u guess what 14 April is for???
I will give you time

14 April is Black day....it is one of the Korean day
Both previous (14 Feb and 14 March) are for those who have LOVER.

So 14 April for people who still can't find their love yet!!
Both boy and girl who are 'single' will come out in this day. Most of them will dress in black to eat one traditional food call 'Jajangmyeon' which is black noodle.

All lonely girls and boys can use this day to find someone who still available, so that they will not available on 14 Feb next year ^^

Lock or Unlock

Back to....9 years ago~

When i was young ^^ i had a chance to go to Australia for celebrating on my sister graduation day. I went there with my parents, we live in one hotel which i already forgot the name. However, there are so many times friends of my sister drove for us...and it was wondered me...every time they drive their cars, none of them locked the door!!!

Cause, i was taught since i was very young, when you get in the car...the first thing you have to do is 'lock the car'. Even now, once i get in my car, i will lock the door automatic without anyone remind me.

But for Australia people, they seem not to lock the car as usual.
So i asked my sister, why they don't lock the car, don't they afraid of the thief?

Answer from my sister made me a bit confuss on that time.
She said, Aussi people afraid to stuck in the car, if there is an accident, more than anyone open the door to hit their head.

HIGH BEAM

If you are able to drive car, there are two things that you could not avoid no matter what.

first : horn

I could say that every countries use 'horn' in the same manner, of cause, we use it to scold those bad-selfish-terrible drivers. so i will not say much about it.

second : high beam

Do you know that, there're two meaning for high beam??

Most countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China use high beam in the same meaning...which is 'to warn'.

- To warn when we drive so fast and want the car in front of us to give us way.

- To warn when we see cars want to come out from side street, but it's too near and we can't break our car.

- To warn cars in the opposite directions that in front of them have polices detect for speed car.(in Thailand: especially on tollway and road that connect between provinces)

-etc.

anyway, Do you know that high beam in UK means 'give way'. I realized this second meaning of high beam during my summer when i was there to work. When i first saw my host family did high beam, yet they slower their car, i was very confuse coz i never know about this meaning before. After that i also saw many taxi drivers also did in the same ways high beam and slow the car to give way. So this is one of the things i learn that UK different from Thailand.

Anyhow, is there any other countries that did the same as UK did?

let's hold hand!!

May i ask you first

1) Do u think it's normal for boyfriend and girlfriend walk hand in hand?

2) Do u think it's normal for girl walk hand in hand with girl?

3) Do u think it's normal for boy walk hand in hand with boy?

Most of you would have at least '1 yes' for those three questions, right?

Well, my answers are all ' yes'. ^^"

The first question is quite common for everywhere in the world, for a lover holding their hands.

The second question, it's also normal for Thai people as well. If you stay in Thai more than an hour, you would see many girls walk hand in hand, while they're shopping, walking across the street, or waiting for car at the bus stop. Me, as a girl, doesn't feel odd to hold hand with my friends who are the same sex at all.

However, it was my direct experience for me and my sister (we both hold hand with friends - different time and place) to have foreigner guys ask us whether we (me and my friend)(my sister and her friend) are lesbian? ^^"

Since the one who ask me, he's a friend of my and we are quite close so this kind of question just make me laugh~ and wonder why he perceive in that way. Anyway, he just only told to me that in his country(UK), girls will not hold hands with girl or else they're lesbian couple.

The last question...this one it's quite difficult for me to explain. I know that most of foreigners won't think it is normal if you see man hold their hands (which is not shake hand). Even Thai man also don't think they will hold hands with their same sex friends (which I ask from my brothers and his friends).

But do you know that in Korean society, a man hold hands with a man is common things, they are not gay. For Korean people, man can hold hands with man and it's show pure relationship and friendship among guys. If you don't know much about Korean culture, it would be very easy to misunderstand them.

Holding hands has many meaning in it.

It would means i feel safe when you hold my hands.

It would means I miss you so much.

It would means i'm scared...can you be my shelter?

It would means i rely on you.

It would means let's go together.

It would means I love you.

For all positive meaning, isn't it good to share love and care in a pure sense?

What 'drink' means to you?

What is the normal drink you would choose?

For me i can drink anything but with ice, to tell you the truth...i was 'the ice addicted'. When you live in tropical country like Thailand, it can't help if you want to drink something cold, right? Just...I might be a bit too much since anywhere I go...no matter it's winter season in Japan, Korea or England, i still preferred to order ice water. However, if you are in Thailand, to order any drink with ice is usual habit for all of us. Cold water will quench your thirst and refresh your body.

But for Chinese-Singaporean and Chinese-Malaysian who live just about an hour by plane far from Thailand are think differently. Hot tea is their first and most likely an only choice for them. Hot tea is not just only to fulfill their thirst or to clean their mouth but to clean their vascular system as well. Since they believed that when you eat food, their somehow will has some food scraps as well as oily food stuck in the vascular system, and hot tea can clean it. So in the opposite way, they believe that cold water isn't good for the body especially when the food is oily, because cold water can make oil become stiff and hard to absorb.

For me, Chinese though may be right...but it's still hard for me to drink hot water or hot tea (-.-") anyway, i will try to reduce drinking cold water at least, may be i will choose just normal water without ice instead.
